Snowbyrds Travel North for the Summer Season

We've been hearing whispering...a peep here and a peep there about travel plans. It is hard to believe as the snow still falls here in Muskoka that spring is upon us and the annual mating season for the Vibrant Voyageurs is over. The flock will soon return to hatch and raise their young by the lakes of Muskoka, Rosseau and Joseph.

The adults, juveniles and even the youngest members of the flock better take their last sip of Caribbean nectar, put down those Cubans and give their wings a stretch...finding a cruise ship back to the main land is getting crucial.

Here are a couple of snowbyrds...don't let their flying position fool you...they are just stretching their wings and looking for a ride on the back bumper of a smooth operating vehicle.
